Stop Trying to Fix It!

A few weeks ago I was visiting Messy Marriage, a great blog run by my friend Beth, about marriage. I was checking out her new post about validating your spouses feelings which was a response to one of her readers' questions. She shared the video below.

I watched it and couldn't stop laughing. I had my wife watch it. The next day I had my team at work watch it. I've shared the video with a bunch of our friends (along with the message that Beth shares, check it out). I love it. Not only is it funny it's true.

Often we can't fix the problem until we've talked through our feelings about it and while stereotypically this is attributed to women more than men I believe it "cuts both ways." We all have feelings that sometimes just need to be discussed before the problem can be resolved.

Enjoy the video!

As always, I would love to hear your thoughts. Go ahead and share them in the comments. I dare you. :)

Also, I want to remind you that if you haven't signed up for my newsletter you should. In fact, I think you should right now.

  1. Just stopping by to say hi and thanks for linking up with Lovin' the Weekend Blog Hops last weekend, and for leaving a comment. I will have to stop back to watch the video as the children are waking up. Just wanted to say "Hi!"
    Have a great day
